Tambang News – The guest lecture of the Mining Engineering Study Program – FTKE Trisakti University which was held on Saturday (8/01/2022) raised the theme “Blasting Vibration”. The guest lecture presented Ir. Dwi Handoyo Marble (Blasting and Environmental Specialist). This activity is carried out online through the Zoom application and YouTube streaming.

Dwi Handoyono explained about the impact of blasting on the settlements of surrounding communities, as well as the negative impacts that mining companies must overcome. The impact of blasting can be in the form of vibration, sound, gas and dust which can disturb the settlements of residents around the mine.

This Guest Lecture ran successfully and smoothly, Participants were very enthusiastic and orderly paid attention to the speakers in delivering their material.
